LYMPHO NEWS
Dear friends,
I’m not sure what the weather is like where you are reading this, but in South Australia it is sunny but cold. The ILF and some of its projects were presented here during the Australasian Lymphology Association Conference held in Adelaide at the beginning of the month. Christine Moffatt CBE, as a keynote speaker, had the opportunity to present on the Limprint Study, the children’s work, and dealing with difficult presentations in lymphoedema. Much that has happened is because of the work of our frameworks — so thank you, these projects could not have happened without you. It was good too for the ILF to be seen and heard at the patient conference taking place on the last day, showing how the ILF puts patients at the very centre of what it does.
The ILF will be with Professor Pinar Borman at the ESL Conference in Istanbul in June, and also at the International Children’s Camp being held in France in July, where children and their families from several European countries will join together for a time of learning and fun — no matter the language.
Please keep us updated with what’s happening where you are — there is so much to do and so much to share in order that we can continue to provide the best care for patients, their families and carers.
With best wishes,
Christine Moffatt CBE and the ILF Board of Directors
